Insurance for Rented Electric Bikes

Insurance for rented e-bikes and the rider is provided by the BikePlan service.

This comprehensive insurance is automatically included in the rental price.


Insurance coverage applies to theft or damage to the e-bike

Insurance includes:

  • theft from buildings (house, guesthouse, office, shared spaces, etc.),
  • theft from open spaces (park, restaurant, shop, square, etc.),
  • theft from a car / from a carrier,
  • robbery,
  • natural disasters and catastrophes,
  • damage and destruction in the event of a fall,
  • damage and destruction in a collision or accident,
  • damage and destruction during transport,
  • vandalism.

Limits:

  • Damage to the bike 150,000 CZK * (deductible 15%, min. 1,000 CZK)
  • Bike theft 150,000 CZK * (deductible 15%, min. 1,000 CZK)

Insurance coverage applies to accidents and material liability of the rider (user)

  • Accident insurance for riders on a rented e-bike,
  • liability for damage to property or health of third parties caused by the rider while riding a rented e-bike (up to 1 million CZK).

Insurance coverage and insurance amounts

  • Death by accident 100,000 CZK (without deductible)
  • Permanent bodily injury as a result of an accident 1,000,000 CZK (without deductible)
  • Wheelchair 100,000 CZK (without deductible)

  • Liability for damage to property and health 1,000,000 CZK (deductible 5,000 CZK)
