General Conditions - ekolo.cz e-bike rental

 

  1. An electric bicycle is a bicycle according to Annex 12 of the Decree of the Ministry of Transport 341/2014 Coll. and meets the specification according to ČSN EN15194:2023+A1.
      
  2. The person (hereinafter referred to as the Lessee) referred to in the "Rental Agreement for Renting an E-Bike - Movable Goods" (hereinafter referred to as the Contract) for renting an e-bike and optional accessories (hereinafter referred to as the Subject) use the subject of the lease, the receipt of which it confirmed by signing the contract.
      
  3. To rent the object it is necessary to pay a refundable deposit (hereinafter the deposit), the amount is specified in the contract.
      
  4. The rental of the object is possible only after submitting at least two personal documents with a photograph of the tenant, one of these documents will be a) a valid identity card, b) a valid passport, c) a valid firearms card, or other verifiable documents with foreigners.
      
  5. The lessee may only be a person over 18 years of age who has legal capacity.
      
  6. The lessee is obliged to check the technical condition of the leased object before its takeover and payment of the deposit.
      
  7. After signing the contract, the lessee assumes all responsibility for the leased item until the item is returned to the lessor.
      
  8. The lessee is obliged to become familiar with the operation of the object as well as with its basic maintenance (battery charging, parking, transport, etc.).
      
  9. Use of the object is at the tenant's own risk. The lessor shall not be liable for any damages caused by the Lessee or a loaned object to the lessee's property or health, nor any damage to the health and property of third parties for the entire duration of the lease.
      
  10. The lessee assumes responsibility for all items of the lease. These are listed in the handover protocol, which forms Annex 1 of the lease. The acceptance protocol is confirmed by the lessee by his signature.
      
  11. The lessee is obliged to return all items specified in the contract clean (washed from dust and mud). In case of non-observance of this obligation, the landlord reserves the right to deduct the amount from the refundable deposit (deposit) in the amount of = 150,- CZK ( 6€ ) for cleaning one piece (the subject of the lease).
      
  12. The subject of the lease (electric bikes) is not intended for towing additional trolleys and is not designed for driving persons under 15 years of age.
      
  13. If the term of returning the leased item is not respected, the lessee is obliged to pay the outstanding rent in the amount stated in the rental price list. The rent due will be deducted from the refundable deposit specified in the contract.
      
  14. In case of loss or theft of leased items, the lessee pays the full price of the item stated in the handover protocol, if the item is not covered by the BikePlan insurance product.
      
  15. In case of damage, theft or loss of the object, the lessee is obliged to notify the landlord immediately by telephone or email. In the case of theft or loss of an item (electric bicycle), the landlord recommends writing a report to the Police of the Czech Republic.
      
  16. The Lessee agrees that a refundable deposit will be used for all possible costs related to the repair of the damaged item. If the amount exceeds the amount of the security deposit, the lessee is obliged to pay the additional costs within ten working days of receiving the invoice and the request for payment.
      
  17. The Lessor has the right to use the security deposit to cover the damage incurred, as well as other claims against the Lessee.
      
  18. The Lease Regulations are an integral part of the Lease Agreement and form its Annex No. 2. By signing the contract, the lessee undertakes to comply with the Rental Regulations in its entirety.
