The e-bike is powered by the powerful Shimano EP8 mid-engine , which offers 21% more power compared to the most powerful Shimano E8000 engine to date and offers 10% less weight with a total value of 2.6 kg thanks to the use of magnesium for the production of the engine block. 36% less friction and resistance when pedaling with the drive switched off or above the speed limit of the motor assistance. It brings a pleasant but powerful riding experience .
Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, the bike can be connected to the E-TUBE PROJECT application (downloadable for Android , iOS ), which allows for individual motor settings. It is powered by a reliable 630 Wh Darfon battery, which is enough for really long trips. The model is built on a 29" for fast off-road riding and all-day hiking. Right on the left hand side you will find the SHIMANO SC-E7000 control unit. It provides a clear display illustrating the various functions of the system. The unit also serves as an assistance switch, allowing the rider to increase or decrease the level of assistance with large, easily accessible buttons.
The suspension fork with 160 mm travel ensures comfort , and powerful Shimano hydraulic brakes ensure safe stopping.
